BEVERLY BOOS OBITUARY

Beverly Catherine McCoy Boos, age 96, went to her heavenly home on September 8, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Henry and Rose (Peyroux) McCoy on December 7th, 1925, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Beverly was the loving wife to Alvin Joseph Boos (d) for 70 years, and she was a devoted mother to her six children: Edward (Melb Scoggin), Sylvia Charbonnet Riera (Gary), Robert (d) (Anna), James (Jana), Carole, and Elaine (George Hero). Her twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren brought great joy to her life. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Rosemary McCoy Baudier Favaloro.

Beverly was a faith-filled woman who loved the Lord, her family, her church, and her community. Family and friends are invited to participate in a celebration of her life to be held on Tuesday, September 13th at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Slidell. Visitation at 10:00 AM will immediately be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM and a reception at the church.

In lieu of flowers, please consider offering Masses for Beverly or a donation in her honor to the Sisters of Mt. Carmel, P.O. Box 476, Lacombe, LA 70445. www.sistersofmountcarmel.org. Arrangements by Jacob Schoen & Son.
